Helen McFarland lives near Omagh on a working farm, where she has her studio. Helen's interest in art began at an early age. She won national art competitions while still in school. She graduated from the University of the West of England at Bristol in 1984 with a BA hons. degree in graphic design.
Helen is sinspired by artsits such as Franz Marc, who respected nature and saw animals as the guardians of the land and by Jack Yeats's later paintings and also by contemporary Irish artist, Brian Ballard.
Helen exhibits in many galleries and her paintings can be found in private collection in the UK, Ireland and the States.
